Default CSS positioning Question - 02-03-2005 , 11:48 PM

I have a question about css layout. Someone earlier told me to get rid of
absolute positioning, and so I've made a page with a container div, and then
divs inside of that, with really no positioning at all. I need some
direction here. For some reason, applying border attributes cause the page
to add 20 pixels to the top of the header section. With ie being the
problem, and not netscape/mozilla.
HELP?

Found the solution, it was to remove any line-height clauses, and also not
to use editor's h1 or h2/h3... txt.

Why get rid of it? It's a valid attribute.

You seem to have created a space at the very top of the page that
corresponds to a cell/row in a table. Somewhere try putting a piece of code
in that valigns your text to center of the space that in a table would be
called a cell. I am referring to the line of text that the top has been cut
off of. Let me know if this untechnical explanation helps you.
