newbie question on html "into" html

first off ive picked up many tips from this ng and thanks to all who are in
it.
my question is that how can i put a ,thumbnail based picture presentation
html page (like one you can create with acdsee ) into what is already an
html "page". im a little familiar with tables and have tried this, but dont
have any luck getting it to work. any answer or suggestion would be very
grateful
